It is mandatory that we understand your mode of transportation to the resort as well as expected arrival time. We have a round trip shuttle service to/from Liberia airport and downtown Tamarindo. We are in a gated community so if you are planning to take a cab or rental car to the resort, we’ll need to advise security at the gate. Your options for arriving at the resort are as follows:
Once you pick up your luggage and clear customs, you will exit the airport to the right for the shuttle area and look for a representative holding a white sign with the brown Rythmia logo. If for any reason you do not see a representative, please call our Guest Services Representative at 011 506 8432-1877 (from the US) or 00 506 8432-1877 (from the UK) for assistance.
Depending on the time of your arrival, there may be a high volume of shuttles, so be sure to be patient and look for the white Rythmia sign.

Driving Directions from San Jose, Costa Rica:
Take Transversal 24 and Av 2/Rafael Francisco Osejo to Calle 42/Hungra Libre | 7 min (1.6 km). Drive from Autopista Jos Mara Castro Madriz, Route 1, Route 18 and Route 21 to Guanacaste | 3 h 19 min (222 km). Take Route 152 to your destination.

If you’re going to drive to the center we recommend you download the WAZE app prior to arriving in Costa Rica.
– Sunscreen, hats, bathing suits, t-shirts, shorts. Our dress code is casual.
– Natural, DDT Free Mosquito repellent. We recommend All Terrain Herbal Armor DEET-Free Natural Insect Repellent.
– Soap and shampoo are available in your room. Additional personal care products are available for purchase in our gift shop
– Strongly consider bringing a journal along with you. Start your entries a few days prior to your visit, perhaps expressing what you would like to achieve during the retreat as well as to record your dreams. In sum, what is your intention for this trip.
We are an alcohol-free facility and appreciate our guests honoring this, meaning do not bring liquor to the property.
As part of your all-inclusive price, you are entitled to 1 one-hour massage, additional massages are available for a fee. You can use the spa, volcanic mud bath, whirlpool and steam room at any time during your stay.

Rythmia mobile is designed to provide our guests with instant access to resort staff services, booking appointments, and the daily schedule of events. You’ll also receive notifications for your spa and/or cleanse appointments. Please download the app to ensure you are well informed during your stay with us. The confirmation code for the app will be provided at check-in.
Before you leave for the center, please download Whatsapp for iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Nokia or Windows phone devices. If you’re planning to rent a car and drive to Rythmia, please download Waze for iPhone, Android or Windows phone devices, for driving directions. This will be helpful for turn by turn GPS directions to Rythmia Life Advancement Center, which is located in Hacienda Pinilla, Santa Cruz, Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
We recommend that you do, in the event you wish to purchase additional services, gift shop amenities, book excursions, or tip staff during your stay. US Dollars and Costa Rican Colones are accepted everywhere on and off site.
There is no alcohol on site and guests are not encouraged to drink alcohol during their stay. Furthermore, guests who are in the plant program, will not be allowed to participate in the plant therapy sessions for the three days following any consumption of alcohol. Rythmia Life Advancement Center is a licensed medical facility, and any guest who is noticeably intoxicated, will be evaluated by the medical staff and is subject to be discharged without refund. There is a low tolerance for alcohol.

Check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. Any guest arriving to the resort after 5:00 PM may be required to delay their intake assessment until the morning of the following day. The intake assessment requires a minimum of 2 hours to complete, in order to prevent any interruption in your day one program schedule please arrive by 3:00 PM if possible..
We have doctors for two reasons. First and foremost, we want each guest to have medical support for general health issues; falls, cuts, colds, flus, etc… Further, we are a licensed medical facility that requires us to have licensed doctors on staff. All of this is for the sole benefit of our guests.
The Answer is You program was designed by Rev Michael Beckwith and is based off his the book. Hes hand selected trusted practitioners from the Agape International Spiritual Center to conduct the courses.
Shiva Rea designed this program using her philosophies, sequencing breathing techniques and sends her trained yoga instructors
Children under the age of 18 years old are not allowed to spend the night at Rythmia. However, they can visit 7 days a week during the visiting hours of 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 8:00PM.
Rythmia needs a license to provide the holistic treatments and plant medicine therapies we offer. Since we are a wellness center with the ability to handle medical and health-related issues for our guests, we need a license to operate as a healthcare facility in Costa Rica.
Rythmia is licensed by the Costa Rican Ministry of Health. We have a General Medical License to provide all the services we offer. We are also licensed by an additional department within the Ministry of Health called IAFA, which is the Costa Rican drug and alcohol facility management division. We are legal to operate within the municipality of Santa Cruz, Guanacaste.
CANCELLATION POLICY: All reservations cancelled at least 10 days before your arrival date will receive full refund or credit towards future stays. Any cancellations to your reservation done within 10 days of your arrival date will be credited towards future trips. If you have selected a shared room, please keep in mind that some people may snore. As such, we recommend bringing your own ear plugs and eye mask to avoid disruption to your sleep. Any room changes at this time are subject to availability and rate change.
